Will of the Wind Chimes

Grace Note Musical Wind Chimes

Decorate your Garden with Wind Chimes

The final touches to any landscape theme are the wind chimes. Whether you live in the Southwest Desert, the Pacific Northwest, the Rocky Mountains, the Midwest or the great Eastern Seaboard, wind chimes will add an element of beauty to the design of your garden.

We suggest that you choose wind chimes that are hand tuned and are actual musical instruments. Musical wind chimes come in several distinctive tunings that make it easy for you to determine the sounds that harmonize with you personally. The chimes will even harmonize with each other when hung in pairs or sets. Another great thing about wind chimes is that they come in a variety of sizes. Wind Carillons can be up to seven feet long while the smaller chimes begin at about two feet long. If they are tuned, the quality of sound will be wonderful with any size.

Once you've decided on the tuning and size of the chimes, you'll want to consider location. Do you love the sounds of chimes wafting through the bedroom windows or would you rather hear them from a distance? Do you have a gazebo, trees, a vegetable garden, a rose garden, or a deck? There's no specific rule for hanging chimes and it is always possible to move them if you choose to experiment with the location. I have chimes near the front door, on the deck and situated throughout the yard. Everywhere I walk, the gentle sounds of music serenade the environment. My neighbors were so happy with the sounds that they decided to buy chimes for their yards too.

Consider engraving your chimes for that personal touch. Do you have a loved one, an occasion, a pet or a plant that you would like to commemorate?  Have your chimes engraved with a special inscription and / or image.

Harmony, balance and symmetry are all integral elements in the design of your garden. The resonant sound of tuned chimes adds to the balance of a beautiful landscape. Tuned chimes blend in with the sounds of nature rather that having a "clanging" effect. The tones echo softly through the air and actually have a calming effect.

After the last tree is planted and the last stepping stone is laid, be sure to add the final decorating touch of wind chimes.

Orchestrate your Wedding with Wind Chimes

Beautiful weddings are remembered forever. A day that family and friends gather to celebrate the marriage of loved ones. It is day when blessed vows are taken, tears are shed, smiles are many, and two people begin a new life together. So planning a wedding is truly a labor of love. Every detail from the dress to the flowers, from the colors to the menu, from the guests to the wedding party, from the altar to the honey moon, takes special care and attention. If you are planning a wedding, I suggest that you consider orchestrating with melodious hand-tuned wind chimes.

Hand tuned wind chimes are musical instruments and are available in several sizes ranging from small to large wind carillons. Distinctive tunings of the chimes will even harmonize with each other when hung in pairs or sets. From the smallest Petite Classic Wind Chimes to the glorious Wind Carillons, all are exceptionally resonant and pleasant so you will never tire of hearing them. In addition, the wind rarely if ever plays the same song twice, so the tunes are ever changing. They make lovely, soft wedding bells wafting gentle melodies through the wind.

If you are planning an outdoor wedding, wind chimes offer that extra special touch to the day. They can be displayed on decks, trees, poles, arbors and any number of scenic set designs. Wind chimes will welcome guests for your indoor wedding. Hang them on the entry path and you’ll make a big hit. It is easy to be creative with wind chimes. Once you know where your ceremony will be and how it will be arranged just decide how you could best show off the new orchestra of chimes.

If you want to do something really special, have the chimes engraved. Choose a small picture and an inscription to have engraved on the plate. Maybe you have a special symbol like a rose, a dove or wedding bells. It is even possible to create your own symbol to have engraved. Then include your name and the date of your wedding. What a great gift for family, bridesmaids, best men, and friends. They will have a beautiful gift to remind them of your wedding every time a breeze sends the melody through the air.

Have a marvelous wedding and always remember that love is in the air.
